I was contacted by Phil as his 400 litre reef set up had seen better days. An incredibly busy work schedule meant that maintenance had become the last thing to be done. Unfortunately, this led to a large algae bloom on all of the rock work and corals, leading to coral die off. It was getting to the stage where the sand was almost completely covered. A lack of regular maintenance had many of the water parameters out of sync and a lot of the equipment blocked and running poorly.
A deep clean involving a large water change, substrate clean and strip down of power heads, pumps and Skimmers have brought this tank back to where it should be. Now a regular maintenance plan has been designed to keep the tank looking good and allowing Phil to sit back and enjoy it.
Another happy customer.
