A lot of us know just how stressful moving house can be, now imagine throwing a large aquarium into the equation with fish to move as well.
Such a fantastic job. One, moving the tank and livestock safely (which I absolutely knew you would)-two, the amazing job you did on the cleaning! I had no idea my tank could even be so spotless!!! Thanks Andy!!

An aquarium can be a fragile ecosystem at the best of times, breaking an aquarium down completely and setting it up somewhere else can be fraught with difficulties and unforeseen issues. But that's where we come in.
I have known Crystal and her family for many years, so when they came to me about moving house with no idea how to move their tropical aquarium, and with a very small window of opportunity to do it, I had to help.
One of the last things to be removed from the property allowed me the room to slowly break down the aquarium, retaining almost all of the original water, carefully removing the substrate and keeping all filtration media sealed in containers with aquarium water. Removing the livestock and keeping them in heated insulated boxes minimises the risk of any sudden temperature drops. Once relocated, it's a slow and careful process of reassembling the system, acclimatising the livestock and using the right additives to maximise the efficiency of the filter system.
Crystal and her family were incredibly pleased, not only with how their aquarium looked in its new home but that I had taken that little bit of stress and worry away.
